    Hello, is it better to apply Reload shortly after coating or wait a while? What is best? I’ve heard of people applying Reload right after coating but only because the car was going to sit outside and possibly get wet. My car is garaged and I just want what’s Best for coating. Thank you

    Hey Corey and team! For an uncoated car, how would applying Hydro2Foam every wash or every second wash compare to applying Reload 2.0 every couple of months? Especially performance wise: gloss and protection?

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare 18 днів тому

      So even applying HydrO2 Foam that frequent may be overkill, or would make you use more product than you actually need. I would utilize CARPRO HydrO2 Foam in place of reload. Although they are different products you wont need both! If you are already applying reload every couple of months, then just washing with reset will suffice. If you decide to move over to HydrO2 Foam, I would argue you would only need to apply it as often as you have been using your reload. -James

      We are so sorry we missed your comment! So, for both of your vehicles, CARPRO Reset will be the most important item. That is your car wash. Washing them regularly with Reset, a Microfiber Madness Delimitt www.carpro-us.com/wash/wash-mitts/microfiber-madness-delimitt/, and a CARPRO DHydrate towel or Microfiber Madness Chipmunk www.carpro-us.com/microfiber-towels/microfiber-madness-chipmunk-25-x-17/ and you are in good shape. Beyond that, occasional use of IronX for decontamination is a good idea. If you want a booster to top up the protection on them then use the Dr. Beasleys Matte Bead Hero you will find here www.carpro-us.com/protection/dr-beasleys-matte-bead-hero-12-oz/ and for a booster on the Model Y use this www.carpro-us.com/quick-detail/carpro-elixir-quick-detailer-500ml-17oz/ Beyond that, reach out to us at service@carpro-us.com if you have questions about brushes, interior, etc etc.

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare Місяць тому

      Straight or circular doesn't matter. However, keep in mind that whenever you change direction with the applicator if you press unevenly then you might make the product a bit thicker which makes it flash slightly slower in that spot. Really we are being very picky here though... its not a very big deal. Just try to turn corners smoothly. Personally I prefer straight line motions and then turn the corners in circular motion.

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare Місяць тому

      The reason they say to buff it off is because many people were applying it too thick... IF you apply it evenly and thin then there is no need to wipe it off. Simply wipe on and walk away! :) Theres even an acronym that came with it... WOWA! Anyway... they found people leaving it uneven so changed the directions on the bottle I guess. But you can do either.

    • @Freakyguy666
      @Freakyguy666 Місяць тому

      @@SkyCarCare interesting…so how would you know if you applied it “too thick”? And is there a difference in the cured finish if you buff off per the bottle directions (after 3-4minutes) versus WOWA?

    • @SkyCarCare
      @SkyCarCare Місяць тому

      @@Freakyguy666 If you apply it "too thick" then after a few minutes - maybe 5ish, there will be uneven high spots like areas that are not flashed off whilst the rest of it has flashed off. Then you can always wipe off those high spots at that time. If you wait too long I presume it would end up uneven but should still be fine at that 3~5 minute mark. So I would say you could try to just wipe on evenly at the amount that you prefer and then if its not even after a few minutes lightly buff the high spots with towel and see if that solves it after another minute. If you do this method, then the final results will be same as if you WOWA. If you wipe off too early or too hard then I think it will not be as good as WOWA. I'm not 100% sure but I suspect they have modified the formula over the years to make it work fine even if wiped off aster 3-4 minutes so probably same results no matter what you do.
